IOM Turkey livelihoods team in Gaziantep attended a cooperation agreement signing ceremony at Sahinbey Municipality for the Livestock Project that will be conducted with the generous support of the U.S. Department of State: Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration. On behalf of the Sahinbey Municipality, mayor Mehmet Tahmazoglu signed the agreement. The project aims to support 20 Syrian and 20 host community member households living in a rural area located in Şahinbey, Gaziantep. Bovines and ovines will be provided to foster the economic and social welfare of the communities living in rural areas through agricultural production.
