The Orientation Training for newly hired provincial migration experts was launched at Akçakoca Vilayetlerevi, Düzce, on 2 November 2022. Ismail Çataklı, Deputy Minister of Interior, Gerard Karl Waite, IOM Türkiye Chief of Mission, Cevdet Atay, the Governor of Düzce, Savaş Ünlü, the President of Migration Management attended the launch event. The training was delivered in three days under the EU-funded project on "Supporting Removal Centres'Capacities and Fostering Alternatives to Administrative Detention." The Presidency of Migration Management and IOM's experts will give lectures on migration management, regular and irregular migration, international protection, human rights, harmonization and human trafficking, and other migration-related issues.
